Why a game
Time your audience chooses to spend with you.
Most of what buys attention is ignored. A game is different: nobody skips it, nobody is made to sit through it, and people ask for it again. It is engagement, brand and loyalty in a form your audience enjoys.
We start with who will actually play: their age, their attention, what they already love about you. Then we design for them. A game for three-year-olds has no words and cannot be lost. A game for a wedding has the guests in it. A game for a chain of shops has a map.
Every game is built in one hand-crafted style, tested with real players before it ships, and delivered wherever your audience is: a phone, a tablet at the counter, a screen on the wall, a link in a message.
Case study
Satimi Sook, Koh Phangan
A small, much-loved ice cream shop on a Thai island with a queue of families every afternoon. We made them a game in which a child serves the shop's customers from behind its real counter: their doorway, their case, their flavours in the pans, and the two people who run it.
It lives on the shop's own domain and hangs by the door as a QR code, so a child in the queue plays the shop while waiting for a cone.
“It is our shop exactly, down to the two of us behind the counter, and the children love that. They play it in the queue, then come back the next week asking for the flavour they scooped. Families send it to each other. Our little shop became the one the island's kids know by name.”

About
A small studio with senior people.
Playmade designs and builds custom games for businesses, brands and occasions. The team spans game design, illustration and engineering, and every project is led by the founder from the first conversation to the last build.
Itai Barsinai, founder: a former senior software engineer at Google, a long-time AI leader who built AI infrastructure companies, and an experienced game developer. He brings production engineering discipline to work that is usually done by hand, which is how the studio delivers polished, bespoke games on the timelines and budgets of small and mid-sized businesses.
We work in one hand-crafted visual style, we design for the actual audience rather than a generic player, and we test every game with real people before it ships.
